Our school is named after St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, the patron saint of all educators, who serves as the pillar of the education and values we instill in our children.

School history

EJEBASKA officially began its educational mission on September 26, 2022.

Beginning in 2022

Under the leadership of Head Teacher Sr. Régine MUTUYIMANA, the school opened with 272 learners: 208 nursery students and 64 primary students.

Early structure

At its inception, the school had four Nursery 1 classrooms, two Nursery 2 classrooms, two Nursery 3 classrooms, and two Primary 1 classrooms, supported by 22 teachers.

Rapid growth

New facilities were constructed for Primary 2, Primary 3, and Primary 4 to accommodate the expanding student body.

Today

Today, EJEBASKA proudly serves 591 learners and is supported by 37 professional educators.

School identity

EJEBASKA is a Catholic religious-based school that offers both academic education and spiritual values rooted in Catholic beliefs.

Location

Southern Province, Muhanga District, Nyamabuye Sector, Nyarucyamo II Village, about 300m from the main road.
